Patients, caregivers, and dispensaries should also be aware that the offices of the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy will be closed to the general public during this time. Patients and caregivers needing assistance should use the toll-free helpline or the program’s Contact page. Dispensaries should continue to communicate through their assigned compliance agent.
Cultivators, processors, and testing laboratories should continue to communicate through their assigned compliance agent. Many of our staff will be teleworking for the next few weeks in an effort to stop community spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We ask for your patience as we respond to your needs through our remote network. Please try to avoid in-person visits to our offices and connect with us via phone call or email. For non-business hours, which means before 8:00AM and after 5:00PM, MMCP Commerce licensees, please use (614) 728-1239. OHIO DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES PROCESSOR APPLICATION UPDATE 16 OCT 2018 The Ohio Department of Commerce has received numerous questions about the details that should be included in the facility plot plan described in the processor application clarification request dated October 3. Based on those questions, the Department wanted to provide additional guidance that the applicants should show both the interior and exterior of the facility in order to demonstrate all of the security-related rule requirements. Recognizing that there was confusion about this question, the Department has extended the response deadline to 12 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2018. If you have already submitted your clarification response, we will allow you to resubmit based on this guidance if you need to provide additional information. Any resubmissions must be received by the deadline of 12 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2018.
